Watershed to Water’s Edge Seminar
This is the 19th annual Gardening in the Norther Neck Seminar. It will take place on March 31st from 8:45AM-3PM at the Church of the Nazarene (57 Wisk Drive) in White Stone, Virginia. Topics include groundwater and efforts to preserve it, role of wetlands, the Integrated Shoreline Evaluation and Assistance program, landscaping, and waterwise gardening. Cost is $25. Fredericksburg Area Iris Society (FAIS)
Those of you interested in irises may want to attend meetings of the Fredericksburg Area Iris Society. Most events, meetings at library, show, sale, open gardens, are open to the public. They will open selected iris gardens to the public on May 14th, and let the public visit during specified hours.
